A demokrácia fontosságát hangsúlyozta David Pressman.
Az amerikai nagykövet kisétált a Kossuth-szoborhoz. Posztjában megjegyezte, hogy Abraham Lincolnt Kossuth szavai is inspirálhatták a gettysburgi beszédében, felhívta a figyelmet a demokrácia fontosságára, majd idézte: mindent a népért, a nép által.
